Even the much-derided Colorado is pretty solid - one just has to accept that you won’t be going anywhere fast, but she’s still plenty capable. The only ship of the bunch I particularly dislike is the Italian BB, but some people swear that FC is amazing.

Tier VII, is IMO, actually a pretty solid tier for tech tree BBs. There are certain ships I want to play just to enjoy them.Īmong tech tree ships, the standout tier VII BBs are Nagato (decent speed, accurate 406mm guns at range), Sinop (406mm guns with Soviet BB dispersion, very tanky when bow-in), Prinz Heinrich (for the secondary memes), and KGV (good speed, a bit squishy, with good HE). Needless to say once I unlocked and got the North Carolina in my port I was happy as a kid in a candy store after a clean dental exam. The Bismarck will be slightly better with two more guns but it does play tier 10 alot, so its effectiveness is going to be reduced, on the good side, it does have great secondaries and it does have hydro to deal with the DD.s. Now Gnes is just powercrept and undergunned. Its to bad that you have not got Gnes when it was a pretty good overall ship, it did have wonky firing but everything else was good, even the AA was surprisingly effective and with the three finger salute you can put away alot of Colorados as you just run rings around them.

I just hope it is a bit better for its tier than the Gnes. I think if I can average these results I should be to the Bismarck in no time. Doing this I received 2 mil potential damage and managed 90k damage myself.

AS long as you can keep angled it will surprise you how long she can hang in. i found the best way to help my team win is to be the focus of as many enemy ships as possible while staying somewhat close to them. But I have found in my limited matches with it that it does tank damage very well. I just got the Gneisenau and it is a very frustratingly difficult ship to perform well in.
